Televised Masses are broadcast on channel 95 on Comcast (Christian Associates' Channel) in Pittsburgh at 10:00 AM on Sundays and 8:15 AM on weekdays (Monday through Saturday).
Maybe the roads are dangerously slick with ice…
Maybe you’re very sick and can’t get out…
Maybe you’re deaf and would like to lip-read the prayers and readings…
Maybe your work schedule doesn’t allow you to get to weekday Mass, but you’d really like to experience the Church’s worship…
Tune in to the televised Mass Monday through Saturday at 8:15 AM and Sunday at 10:00 AM on Christian Associates’ Channel (Channel 95 on Comcast).
Since 1991, thanks to the dedication of a team of volunteers, the Cathedral’s Mass has been cablecast to people who are homebound and would like to be with us in prayer.
The Mass is cablecast on Christian Associates' Channel (Channel 95 on Comcast) each day and we are in need of volunteers to help with this ministry. At every televised Mass we need two volunteers. Volunteers must be able to arrive at the Cathedral by 7:45 am on weekdays and by 9:30 am on Sunday. Training is provided for anyone who is interested. All volunteers are required to be compliant with the safe environment policies of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. For more information contact Father Kris Stubna at [email protected] or 412-621-4951. This ministry helps to bring the Mass to the homes of our elderly and shut in parishioners and many others in the community who cannot attend Mass.
