One saying often attributed to Will Rogers humorously highlights the waste of excess. “Too many people spend money they haven’t earned, to buy things they don’t want, to impress people they don’t like." The disciples' mother missed the internal mechanism about discipleship with her request. She has failed to understand that the Kingdom Jesus has proclaimed real authority is service and the last shall be first. Have we heard this message?
